Terri Morse is a contemporary artist whose optimism is seen in her cheerful colors and subjects. Drawn towards light filled spaces, the fluid transparency of watercolor captures the joy found at home, in the wilderness or while seeing new places. Watercolor on translucent rice paper allows for textures from the fibers and splattered wax resist to add depth and a bit of whimsy. Paintings on cradled clayboard offer a contemporary look and eliminates the need for framing with glass.
Terri is a signature member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and Baltimore Watercolor Society. Recent group exhibits include the 2014 Philadelphia Water Color Society International Juried Exhibit, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society’s International Juried Exhibition, Baltimore Watercolor Society’s Mid- Atlantic Regional Exhibition, and ACT International Exhibition 2010, 2012 and 2014. She is also a continuing contributor to Healing Art Works.
